Stonehouse Community Centre welcomes advertisements that are of benefit to the local community. Income generated from commercial advertising helps support the charitable activities and running costs of the Centre.
2. Community Advertising
The following organisations may display A4 posters free of charge (subject to available space):
Registered charities
Community groups
Non-profit organisations
Public sector organisations (e.g. NHS, local authority, emergency services)
Community events taking place at the centre
3. Commercial Advertising
Local businesses are welcome to advertise on the Centre's noticeboards at the following rates:
Poster Size. Charge
A5. £3 per month
A4. £5 per month
A3. £8 per month
Payment must be made in advance.
4. Approval
All advertisements must be approved by the Centre Manager or an authorised member of staff before being displayed.
Stonehouse Community Centre reserves the right to refuse or remove any advertisement that:
Is offensive, discriminatory or unlawful.
Promotes gambling, vaping, tobacco, or other unsuitable products or services.
Is political or party-political.
Is inconsistent with the aims and values of the charity.
Is damaged, out of date or of poor presentation.
5. Display
Posters will only be displayed where space permits.
The Centre cannot guarantee a specific location on the noticeboard.
Posters will be removed once the advertising period has ended or after the event has taken place.
The Centre accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to displayed materials.
6. Payment
Advertising fees are payable before the poster is displayed. Fees are non-refundable once the advertisement has been displayed.
7. Review
This policy will be reviewed periodically by the Trustees of Stonehouse Community Centre to ensure it remains fair, appropriate and supports the charity's objectives.
