(Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy)
What is SUDEP?
SUDEP means someone with epilepsy passes away suddenly and unexpectedly.
It’s rare — but it is the most serious complication of epilepsy.
Who is most at risk?
People with frequent seizures, especially tonic-clonic seizures (the kind where you lose consciousness and shake).
If seizures happen at night or medications are missed.
Why does it happen?
Doctors don’t know for certain, but it may be linked to:
Breathing difficulties during or after a seizure
Changes in heart rhythm
Being alone when a seizure happens

Meet Your Host
Julie Cull is an experienced and highly respected dog training professional, holding approved trainer and assessor status with the Kennel Club, Pawsable, the Academy of Animal Behaviour Consultants, and the Academy of Dog Trainers. She runs 5 Valleys Dog Training School, where she shares her expertise with owners and their dogs through structured, positive training programmes.
In addition to her training work, Julie is a familiar face at numerous dog shows, where she both participates and supports the local canine community. She is also the organiser of popular summer and Christmas events in the local area, bringing together dog lovers for fun, learning, and celebration. Julie’s passion, professionalism, and community spirit make her a trusted figure in the world of dog training and events

Cozy Christmas Craft Evening
Get into the festive spirit with a cozy Christmas craft evening at Stonehouse Community Centre!
Join us on Tuesday 9th December from 7–9pm for a relaxing Christmas craft workshop where you’ll make your own personalised peg dolls on wooden logs – a festive decoration for your home or a thoughtful handmade gift for a loved home. Enjoy free welcome drinks as you unwind, get creative, and soak up the warm, festive atmosphere. This workshop is suitable for all skill levels and support will be on hand throughout.
Cost is £27pp inclusive of material and welcome drinks

We’re moving indoors from January to March!
Our core group of seven stalls has been braving the chill, but it’s time to get cozy. Join us at our indoor markets where we’ll stay warm, keep our stock dry, and continue bringing you all your favourite local goods and handmade treasures.
Our history
The Stonehouse Saturday Stalls have been running for around four years, proudly continuing the community market spirit after the previous market came to an end.
You’ll find us every Saturday from 10am to 2pm, outside the Stonehouse Medical Centre, bringing fresh produce, handmade crafts, and local goodies to our lovely town.
Our core team of friendly stallholders includes:
Pete the Veg – fresh, local fruit and vegetables
Paganhill Plants – beautiful plants and garden treasures
Tessa’s Trinkets – handmade gifts and curiosities
Ken’s Bird Boxes – crafted homes for your feathered friends as well as bat boxes, bee hotels and feeders
The Stonehouse Gift Company – unique local gifts and crafts as well as scented sizzlers
SJ Cakes – sweet treats and bakes made with love
Baked For You – delicious homemade bakes and signature cookie pies
